What is Oat Beta-Glucan?

Oat beta-glucan is a soluble fibre that is particularly concentrated (up to 95%) in the oat bran (outer layer) of an oat grain. It is effective in reducing cholesterol levels and regulating blood glucose. Studies have shown that the consumption of 3g oat beta-glucan daily significantly reduces total and LDL (bad) cholesterol levels. Studies also showed that oat bran was far more effective than barley bran in lowering serum lipids.(1) Currently, oat beta-glucan is the only dietary fibre recognized by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) in its’ ability to reduce a disease risk.

How does it work?

I like that it’s organically grown in the best conditions, far away from polluted areas and free from chemical fertilizers and pesticides. A good product comes from fine quality ingredient and in that, NH Oat Plus 26 has proven to be a healthier and safer choice.
